As I posted before, I’ve been on a quest for a while to find a 95. I thought I was going to pick up this red one in Idaho a few weeks ago. I flew out there only to find it in pretty bad shape. I chose to walk away, well, technically, fly away. I saw this Z pop up on autotrader. The price was a bit high for what the car was, but there’s I knew there was a lot of potential with the car. The engine was strong, the idle was spot on. There are some issues with it, the interior needs a good cleaning, the seats need new skins, it needs a little bit of body work (already got a quote of $400 to fix all the dents sans painting), needs new shocks and engine mounts, all understandable considering the car has 170k miles on it, but the guts of the car are good. After some negotiating, I got the car for a fair price of $4,800 this past weekend. Not bad considering it has no major gremlins, just needs some TLC. So, I was all excited to start working on this car in the coming weeks and then I see that clean 95 for sale in the classifieds today!, so, now I am really considering selling my “new” Z, and picking up that clean 95. So, I might be selling this car soon. Anybody want a 95 for $4800? Ha!
